Our first DWF Steelhead/Walleye Challenge tournament exceeded our expectations with 13 boats and 40 Anglers making the trip to Erieau, Ontario for some great Steelhead and Walleye fishing.  Aside from the payouts. DWF won the "Golden Minnow Bucket" as we took all 4 places, leaving the LSCWA in our wake!!

I want to thank the members of the Lake St Clair Walleye Association that participated (Remember, it's your turn to host next year!!!!!)

I want to express a special thanks to Mark Schaller and his crew (Sue, Frank and Steve) as well as Chuck Jones for all of the work they did with the weigh-in and lunch!!!

Everyone had a great time at the dinner Friday, as well as the lunch at the weigh-in.  It was a great weekend of fishing and camaraderie and I, for one, am looking forward to many more trips.  For those that haven't been to Erieau, you are missing a great Steelhead, walleye and perch fishery only a little more than an hour drive away.
