With the price of commercial Planer board releases, Here is a VERY effective Do It Yourself version! What I do is use clothes pins & shower curtain hooks for Planer Board Releases .   I take some plastic tube ( that I buy from the dollar store  cheap. It really is  a cheap jump rope and comes in bright orange or lime green. THIS REALLY ADDS TO READING THEM.) I take it apart & cut into small sections & slide over and cover the shower curtain  hook & that improves the "vision"  of the releases and makes them easier to see with "old" eyes!
